What is a Thought for Thought Translation? (Part 1)

This lesson continues from where we left off last time and discusses another issue scholars face when translating the Bible into modern English (or any other language).

The issue at stake, and how scholars react to it, reveals how different Bible translations "work". It also paves the way for us to understand the fine balance they have to maintain: between exposing the original meaning of the text, while making it readable for modern Christians.
